3 months...

Our little Asher-man turned 3 months on May 12th!  Time is flying by!  Unfortunately, this pic was taken with my phone, so it's not the best...

Here are some highlights from month 3:

As I write, Asher is now giggling (but that officially belongs in month 4), however, in month 3, he started cooing more and practicing a "grrrr" throat-y sound.  Sounded like the beginning of giggles :)

Asher started sleeping some longer stretches at night!  At his best, he slept 6 hours!  But that only lasted two nights :(  Our usual evening includes 3-4 hour stretches.

In month 3, he also started consistently taking 4 naps a day.  The first is always within 45 minutes to an hour of when he wakes in the morning.  Then a second one late morning.  The third is always the longest and happens after lunch around the same time that Maya goes down for her nap (YAY FOR MOM!) and then a fourth shorter one in the evening.

In month 3, Asher found his hand and has begun to suck on it.  It's quite loud!  I wonder if he'll drop the nukie and soothe with his hand instead?  We'll see...

Asher experienced a couple of first outings in month 3:

We did a family outing to the aquarium on 4/21...it was uneventful for him and he slept the whole time ;)

We also went on the Mukilteo ferry for fun on 4/27.  Once again, he slept for almost the entire adventure.

Uncle Paul and Auntie Tina came to visit and Asher went to Pike Place market with Mom, sissy and Uncle on 4/29.

On 5/10, we joined two friends and their kiddos for Asher's first trip to the zoo.  He did great!  Slept initially, then woke to eat while we all had lunch and fell back asleep for the ride home.

These girls LOVE their brothers...and I love that all these kiddos are within a few weeks of each other...boy and girls, respectively.  Should be fun times growing up!

Here are some more pics...
Handsome guy!

Matching Pirate shirts...sissy couldn't be more excited!  Argh!

She loves to "help" in any way possible...particularly giving him his "no no" whether he wants it or not!

She makes him smile :)

For a while, this was the best way for me to shower in the morning.

Love my buddy

He is WAY MORE drooly than Maya ever was!  I will often find bubbles on his face!

Classic...she loves him, he's not so sure

Still loves his bath!

We started reading...he seems to like it :)

Such a patient play mate

Love love love
And some more love ;)
